Nice 1BR flat in the city center (Crown 3)

Clean rooms and very close to Zurich HB and tourist attractions

Clean, close to the main train station, accessible by tram.

Good location, acceptable to good facilities, horrible staff and bad service. Positive: The location is good, only 3-4 stops by Tram from the HBf (central railway station). Considering many spots in Zurich are not far from HBf, the property at Kronenstrasse is quite good. But, our apt is by the street, which is sometimes quite noisy. There is a park nearby, which is quite good for walking after dinner. But, shopping including buying foods is not convenient. One should take the tram to HBf area to buy. Facilities in the kitchen are good. Microwave, fridge, oven are available, and also dishes, cups, etc. Bathroom is fine, but the window can not be opened. Negative: 1. the wall of the apt is thin, and the neighbors’ activities could be heated clearly, especially at night. 2. Ants could be frequently found in the apt, especially in the kitchen area. Mosquitoes can be found occasionally. If one think this is natural, they are free to choose to stay an apt like this one. 3. The horrible thing is to deal with the manager or staff I this property. Frankly, it is her/him (I do not exactly who I was dealing with) that I decide never to consider to recommend this apt to others. I myself won’t never consider to live here again! That’s a quite long story, and I retained all talks with a staff, possibly a lady whose name is D. One interested could request all talks from me. You can draw conclusion if my critique is right, or that staff. Small issues; 1. The property did not give me a Zürich card or like. In other cities, we were offered by the hotel or apartment free public transportation card. In this apt, the staff has never mentioned it, let alone offered a card. 2. We arrived Zürich around 11am. We were refused to leave baggages in the reception (we realized there is NO reception at all) or the room. So we have to pay to. 12 CHFs to deposit our baggages in HBf. After we went to the apt on 3pm, we can not get into the room and I believe there is a problem with the door. The staff (possibly lady D) answered my phone but chose to communicate by SMS consequently, which is quite inconvenient and expensive to me. The lady denied there is a problem with their door, and did not show up and refused to answer me if someone is gonna to help us out soon. Only after my insisted inquiry, she said someone is one the way to the apt. We then coincidently opened the door, and leave the bags there and go out for tour. I thought it is the end of the story, although I am NOT satisfied with the staff or manager.

Positive: The location was excellent, close to shops, restaurants and public transport. Negative: No toiletries provided, not enough power points, power cables all over the floor by the TV.
